Barbara Isenberg is an award-winning journalist who has been writing and lecturing about theater for more than three decades. She is the author of Making It Big: The Diary of a Broadway Musical, State of the Arts: California Artists Talk About Their Work, and Conversations with Frank Gehry. This book has a focus on snacking in moderation, which is a great message for children. Albert loves performing for the guests of the zoo, and the guests love him as well! They throw many different treats in his cage including; gumdrops, popcorn, ice cream, and more! But, when Albert, the bear starts eating too many snacks...he becomes unhealthy. It is up to Albert to control his cravings! But not before a big adventure into the city where he discovers his love of running. This teaches show more children that exercise can be fun, even certain things they never thought they'd like. show less
