Tomas Härenstam

A very detailed look at the cyberpunk Los Angeles of the Blade Runner movies (Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049), using the Free League game system. The game is centred around investigators from the Replicant Detection Unit (RDU) and this in itself gives it a special police investigative focus. Characters can be human or replicant, with different specialisations. The background and the city are explained in dense text (with quite a small font for those of us with older eyes) and gleaming show more maps, with plenty of quotes from the movies. There are also rules for the GM and players on how to present and solve cases. It looks really good and I hope to play it sometime; might add another star if I do. show less

Rating is for the "Electric Dreams" Case File only (the one thing from the box that I read cover-to-cover). The boxed set as a whole I'd give four and a half stars.

Filled me with imagination. Which is the highest praise I can put on an RPG.
