This book put me quite firmly in mind of the hilarious Dylan Thomas line from [b:A Child's Christmas in Wales|563820|A Child's Christmas in Wales|Dylan Thomas|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1348381389s/563820.jpg|809138] "And Easy Hobbi-Games for Little Engineers, complete with instructions. Oh, easy for Leonardo!" Which is to say that there are many interesting looking projects herein, but they are mostly way above my skill level. Still, lots of fun to read about. Except the circuit boards, show more those make my eyes glaze right over. show less
Halloween Food (Instructables Halloween) by Authors of Instructables
Loved the front cover and wanted to know how to make the treats: desserts, drinks and snacks.
Illustrated very colorful book showing step by step how to make the items. They are so real to life! Also tells why the author wanted to make them, what inspired them to do so.
Decorated Mummy Dogs would be my favorite to cook.
Candy corn would be my second favorite but it involves a lot more work.
Great book for family baking as long show more as the kids have supervision. show less
This was not what I was anticipating, although I may be harsh in judging it based on my anticipations. It is very light on the health benefits of only a handful of spices and herbs. Not much information about how to treat or preserve them, either. It gives a selection of blog-type recipes, most of which sound good enough to try, which incorporate a few spices and herbs. For a beginner cook, I think this would be good.

While the recipes contained in this e-cookbook are wonderful I found the huge amount of information for each recipe to be overkill. The cookbook is laid out in a way that seems to be made for someone who has never cooked in their life and needs to be shown a picture of every step and then given a choice to check its dictionary meaning also. Although they say information is power, I think this is too much. If you can get past all the stuff the recipes are good.
