Edith Newlin Chase

This book is all about water and how it flows and interacts with the environment.

I loved this book for two reasons. 1: all the text rhymed, and 2: the art that was used to depict the pictured. It is a very good way for shildren to learn synonyms and to learn about water.

This book is about the first few days of a calf's life, and how her mother takes care of her. I loved the illustrations in the book, they were absolutely wonderful! This book is great for young elementary students because it exposes them to farm animals.
