This is a good story.
It's well written, first for my by this author and certain my made me want to check out other books by her.
The dynamic of the relationship is a bit frustrating. The Hero is so self sacrificing, if you are looking for an Alpha type Hero then this isn't going to work for you.
There are huge misunderstandings and misconceptions that lead to stop/starts in their relationship.
The heroine was too nice, dealing with the ex and the ex's new child girlfriend, I wished she'd had show more her say but then again it's played off as her keeping her dignity.
I would have liked an epilogue but I am assuming that the you see previous couple's in the next book so....
It's sport based, golf.
I liked that although sport based the Hero is not a manwhore type, although he and the heroine have a ONS.
HEA.

I adored the chemistry between these two! Their whole "hate-that-I-want-you" vibe has this book brimming with sexual tension from the start. But they are also such a fabulous pair and great partners for each other. I thoroughly enjoyed this story! Plus, the dramatics of the plot were rather refreshing.
This is a love at first sight novel but it definitely had substance to it. These two communicated very well with each other so I got the connection. I wish it would have taken them longer to reach the ILY stage but I got it. It was also very aware of the fact that this was rushed, that their feelings were too much too fast--but that's the title after all. So it's a touch cliche but it was an entertaining read.
Elizabeth was not a fly by the seat of your pants girl. She was a planner and if all the little notepads had anything to do with it, she planned everything. Right down to the last detail of her new life. Lose weight, find ex boyfriend, screw ex boyfriend, move on with new man. I loved this cute little story of a woman's struggle with her self esteem and body issues. It's a never ending battle for some women and it's good to know that there are men out there who will work to help their women show more overcome that issue. show less
