A "Washington Merry-Go-Round" of Libel Actions by Douglas A. Anderson
An analysis of libel law done through the prism of looking at the mass of cases filed against Drew Pearson, the muckracking political columnist of the 1930s-1960s era. The book is heavily geared toward lawyers, since the discussion of libel law is very academic, but it does give one a strong flavour for what Pearson was up against.
