Bilingual book in English and Spanish on every page.
Older brother is taking his sister to school, tells her she cannot cry at school. During his class he sneaks out to go check on his sister who he believes is crying, but in fact she was just playing. He tries to whisper to her to tell her to behave but then gets scared by his own teacher who was looking for him. It then made him cry and his sister reminded him that sometimes its okay to cry in school.

This was a really great book. The fact that this book was bilingual, so you can read both languages. the pictures in this book went very well with the context of the book.
Book is bilingual in English and Spanish.
The boy's dad gifted him crayons and paper, he loves to draw. His father gifts him things because he behaves well. He only likes to sit on the floor and draw when his sister is napping so he can do it freely without her disturbing him. He drew pictures of the members of his family, he drew his sister as crying because she is always crying and misbehaving while he drew his dad smiling and happy. He drew his mom with big teeth and with an angry face, show more he showed her and she was not happy but he didn't understand why.
His sister then woke up and she asked to borrow his crayons and he said no and pushed her, she began to cry. He then let her borrow a violet crayon because he didn't like the color, but was still holding on to his paper. Because he didn't want to give her paper to draw on he suggested that there were other areas in the house where she could draw on so she started drawing on the walls. Eric's mom got upset and yelled at him, he again didn't understand why she was upset at him when Julieta (his sister) was the one who always misbehaved. show less

This book is a biography of the life of Stephen Hawking. The book describes Stephen Hawking’s early life, college career, and diagnosis of Amyotrophic Lateral Sclerosis disease (ALS). This book describes how Mr. Hawking was given 2 years to live by doctors. Prior to his disease Mr. Hawking did not study very hard but once realizing his time was limited he began to study feverishly. He married, had kids, and became a “rock star” in the field of astrophysics despite the debilitating show more effects of ALS. This book describes how Mr. Hawking slowly lost his ability to walk and then talk. However, Mr. Hawking’s disability did not slow him down from being a television star, experiencing weightlessness on an airplane, and becoming internationally known for his theories about black holes, event horizons and the “Big Bang” theory. Hawking died at the age of 76 after living for 50 years beyond what doctors predicted. show less
