Memorable and atmospheric film foreshadows The Matrix in some ways and makes me wonder how much the Wachowskis stole from this film. This is a science fiction film noir that not only has a unique atmosphere, but has a great cast to go along with it. Talking about the plot would be pointless; this should just be experienced, like a Raymond Chandler novel.
A man wakes up with no memory, apparently a murderer; oh, and aliens control the world.

Comic-book adventure-serial science fiction, in noir style. Granted, it takes itself too seriously. And Kiefer Sutherland is really awful in it. And the ending (while satisfying) is a bit of an easy way out for the writers. But damn this movie is awesome.

2024 movie #154. 2016. The gods Horus and Set battle for the kingdom of Egypt. Kind of entertaining but seriously flawed. Nothing made much sense. The movie was heavily dependent on CG. The static stuff looked great but anything that moved looked phony.
A robot manufacturer's murder involves robots, maybe.

2.5/4 (Okay).

Reasonably entertaining. The action scenes aren't great, and I am really not a fan of the nobody-believes-the-protagonist trope.
