I think the title is a little misleading, it is going to take more than 20 minutes to master anything. However this is a good short book which covers the basics well. There are lots of simple exercises to build up your practice and even guidance on how to start developing your own rituals. It's a good starting point and I can see why many introductions to Wicca have it on their reading lists.
An interesting book that touched on many different areas of magickal practice without going terribly in depth into any of them. I can’t say that I learned any big, deep ‘secrets’ or read much that I hadn’t read or heard elsewhere before, but it is a good reference book with some simple rituals outlined, recipes for various incenses and oils, correspondences, etc. Also gave much practical advice for living. I liked the author’s writing style and her practical approach to life and show more magick. This one will stay on my reference shelf. show less

This book reminds me of the nature books I used to read when I was younger with its many pictures and few words. However, I did find it useful in that the book's simplicity brought me back to Wicca's core which is the God and Goddess, the elements, and my own body existing in unison. The means of opening and closing chakras was especially helpful.
This was the first book I ever read on Wicca so is sentamental for those reasons. Provides a serious and fairly traditional description of witchcraft and describes a leveled degree structure.
