The illustrations are the only thing about this book that's at all special. Tucker, a rabbit, has a hard day at school because he feels like he's the only one making mistakes, but his day just keeps getting better and better. This books does an excellent job of encouraging children to try to do new things because mistakes are okay.
The pictures are lovely, but the story is lacking. My children haven't asked for me to read it again. (6 and 7)
Sam the snow man wants to give the people in the town snow. So they an go out and play in the snow. At the end he finally understands the importance of giving. I think the art(pictures) is the strength of this book. The pictures are wonderful!
Okay read aloud, not a lot of interaction. Tucker's 1st day of school and he is scared, but then he gets used to it.
