I Highly Recommend This Book!
When I first started reading this book I show more didn't think I was going to like it.
I was SO WRONG!
I gave it a 5 star even though there were a few (very few) editing problems. Really wish someone would properly edit these E-books! The only other problem was a few areas where the story got bound up in TMI. Some details can kill a story & make reading a book laborious. Thank goodness it only happened a few times, and got back to the real story relatively quickly.
The story itself was funny, sexy, romantic and exciting! Fast moving & kept you on your toes. There were instances where you really weren't sure where the story was going to go. I love that uncertainty. While there is always room for improvement, Nikki Sex did an awesome job!

Book #2 [b:Kink|22583454|Kink (Fate #2)|Nikki Sex|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1403624138s/22583454.jpg|41440315]

This is the 2nd book about Paul and Emily. It opens with a big 'OMG' that keeps you in suspense throughout the book. This story is so well told that you easily forgive the editing errors. It is mostly written in Paul's point of view. But you also get Emily's perspective throughout.
YES, I gave it 5 stars even though there are editing mistakes. And YES, I deducted points for them. This story was just that remarkably powerful and brilliant.
Here is an example of the type of editing mistakes;
I feel hot puffs warm of warm air against me.
Trust me. I caught each and every error. But the story was so thrilling, the characters so amazing, that for every point I took away for editing errors I had to give back for the eloquence of the story. I know I highlighted and made a huge amount of notes. A lot of them I will be adding to Goodreads as favorite quotes.
The suspense of who the culprit is and if Paul will live keeps you on your toes throughout. You may have an idea, but you really just don't KNOW.
It took me 4 days to read because of its 'Intensity' factor. I had to take breathers! The eroticism is passionate and even profound. Paul has a sadistic side that he refers to as 'The Beast', and he is terrified of that side of himself. His character and Emily's are very complex and expressed in detail.
I loved so many elements in this story. The suspense, the characters, the complexities. If you are a lover of a really good story and adult romances, you so have to read this 2 book series! I can't express enough just how much I loved it!

OUCH! I just burned myself on the book! Yes, folks, it's HOT. VERY hot. Not for the faint of heart; has some serious BDSM content. I received this as a free review copy from the author; as such, I felt I should give it a review -- an HONEST review.

Now to the review... I read this as the "boxed set". I will admit that if I had read it in pieces, after the first part, I probably would NOT have continued on reading. My advice? READ IT IN ITS ENTIRETY.

I have recently become hooked on Nikki Sex's show more works; not (just) for the oozing sexuality coming off of each page, but for the fact that she can tell a STORY. (Check out her latest ones about "Carmen"!) It's not just some gratuitous sex scene to scene to scene, but it IS a story. You find yourself caring about the characters, even if you don't like or understand them... or like or understand what happens to them. (Not being definitive because it would be a spoiler!) What Nikki Sex is able to do is immediately bring you into the character's mind (a little bit of reader Stockholm Syndrome, eh?) so that you feel their helplessness, anger, confusion, etc... (Again, trying not to spoil anything.) Not only did I absolutely HATE "Sir" in the beginning, I have to admit that the twist as to how/why Elizabeth & Mark ended up being kidnapped was a great one, and as a reader made me reevaluate EVERYTHING I had been thinking up to that point. I think it takes a great story to have a reader feeling very strongly about a character, and then have them to the point where they are able to admit to themselves that they were a bit too quick to judge.

This is a great story, and especially a great introduction to Andre Chevalier (oh la la!). PLEASE read it as a boxed set and just grit your teeth through the first part - it gets easier as the story goes on to understand the "big picture". Great set - now to go check out "Bound & Freed"!!

Nikki Sex's latest ebook, "What Wendy Wants", features a happily married couple whose sex life has become stagnant.

Okay, girls - hands up. (Can you be honest enough? C'mon - no one will tattle to the PTO....) Don't we ALL see some of our old married selves in Wendy's situation? While Nikki Sex is more commonly known for her heavily sexed, BDSM themed novels (Carmen's New York Romance Trilogy; Bound and Freed Boxed Set; Elizabeth's Bondage Boxed Set), in this novella she turns her attention show more to the "softer" side of BDSM -- the mental side. While she loves her husband, Wendy just can't get excited about sex any more, and instead has turned to her Kindle, "Mommy Porn" and "BOB". One day her husband, Frank, inadvertently grabs her Kindle... and after a bit of privacy invasion of breaking her password, he discovers exactly what it is that Wendy wants. Frank, being the thorough forensic accountant that he is, does his research and plans to surprise Wendy with a night to re-kindle (Kindle - get it? [snicker]) their sex life.

At this point, the book could have really tanked. However, Nikki Sex has found some light & humorous ways to couch some serious information about sexual desires. For example - at points during the evening, you'll "hear" Frank doing a mental "checklist" of items based on his research -- tugging on hair, spanking, etc... He thinks about the erotica he has read from the list on Wendy's Kindle - and really, how many authors are willing to make fun of themselves by mocking their pen names, like Nikki Sex does in "What Wendy Wants"? As an added bonus, Andre Chevalier has a presence as Frank takes to heart many of his lessons - the main one being that open communication is the key to a truly loving relationship. Admit it - once the kids come along you're pulled in 50 different directions and the marriage doesn't always come first. "What Wendy Wants" is a nudge to all of us married folks to re-focus on our marriages... our love... and our communication.

Now, it's not all sappy happy. It wouldn't be a Nikki Sex book without the SMOKIN' HOT sex scenes, and she doesn't fail to give Wendy & Frank some "happy happy" time. There is some dominating, commands, spanking, toys, etc... - but no hardcore stuff, so Vanilla Moms like me aren't gonna be too freak out by it [wink].

Now those of you that know me IRL may think, "Hey, some of those kid stories sound familiar!" Well, that's 'cause they are. Yep, I spawned Mouth, Sullen & Little Dude. I wish that I had coined the phrase "Super Bowl of Chaos" to describe my household, because boy oh boy [pun intended] did Nikki Sex get it RIGHT! And I wish I'd know her about 14 years ago, because I really think we did wrong in naming Mouth -- I think that we should have gone with Liam... so that like "Will", we could have called him "Won't". Now stop wondering about my bedroom antics -- I was strictly a humorous sidekick type of inspiration. The rest of it is all Nikki Sex... and I'm going to be VERY proud to say that I "know" her (well, I know her via her pen name only) because as she continues to write, she continues to improve. The best part about her books is her ability to create believable and likeable characters. The sex is definitely the cherry on top :).

Okay, go buy it. If for nothing else than to see what a day in the life of Snarky Mom is like. It'll make you feel happy that you don't own this Super Bowl of Chaos....
