Indulgent smut, vapid characters, mindless plot, ridiculous premise. It's also the most purely fun manga I've read all year, and I can't wait for the next one.

When I'm scooping up an armload of manga at my local library, I have a tendency to snatch up titles I haven't read before without even looking at the back cover. I then often read those manga while taking an hour-long walk around my neighborhood, usually reading one in entirety and carrying a back-up or two in my pocket. This book was my only back-up yesterday, which is how I found myself reading over 50 pages of crap. Twenty pages in, when I realized the characters were not being introduced show more in any meaningful way, I read the back cover and found that this was a spin-off anthology, giving other creators a chance to produce gag strips using characters from a series that I have not read before. Oops. I tried to keep reading to finish out my walk and see if the mother series might be worth checking out. Well, I don't think I've seen a title so obsessed with boobs since [b:Little Annie Fanny|31131713|Little Annie Fanny|Harvey Kurtzman|https://images.gr-assets.com/books/1468649725s/31131713.jpg|51751418]. And since I'm no longer a 12-year-old looking through my dad's Playboy magazines, the non-stop stupid boob jokes just ended up trying my patience. Couldn't finish. show less
This has a much more sexual tone than I was expecting from the description I saw, but so it goes with a lot of manga. It's about a teenaged boy getting lumbered with various monster girls, "with hilarious consequences" as the saying goes. Mostly with kind of awkward invasion-of-privacy consequences to be honest. It was okay, the art's decent, and although it's pretty lowbrow I'm not that easily shocked - I suppose being brought up on Monty Python's full-frontal-nudity comedy will do that. show more I'm not sure how long the premise will stay interesting though. show less
The monster girls end up in a high school. A really fun story, and it features all the monster girls, which is nice.
