Intended for children, this cookbook/graphic novel provides step-by-step instructions for creating dishes from all around the globe. As an adult, I found the graphic novel format a little awkward, but kids would probably enjoy it because of its uniqueness.

A brilliant book for beginner adults and children alike. Perfect for those who are just trying their hand at making sweets, or want quick and easy recipes, or even just something to do on a rainy afternoon.
Also includes handy templates for making your own packaging
Sonny and I read this together. I wanted to give him a different angle on world history. It's an Usborne book, and I enjoyed it. It's a terrific introduction to art for beginners of all ages. The only thing that bugs me is that occasionally they'll mention a painting and describe it in great detail rather than showing it, or mention an artist and describe his work rather than showing an example of it.

This book has lots of gorgeous pictures. It covers a broad range of related topics with sufficient information to appeal to readers of all ages. I was disappointed that the internet links are no longer functioning.
