This book is the perfect follow up to Faces & Places. Focus on Features shows how to get the details in faces. I got so excited reading through this book and imagining the possibilities using my own pictures. Charlotte Andersen shows how to capture the expressions and get the light source correct by the careful selection of fabrics. Great book!

I can't wait to make a quilt using the techniques in this book. Charlotte shows how to take a photo, enlarge it, make a pattern, choose fabric, and applique the pieces. Although there are not as many pictures in this book, the instructions are clear. She also has projects in the book with step-by-step directions for practice. So get out those cameras and start quilting!!!
