I loved this story to begin with. It started out really strong. I also loved the way the author combined the Billionaire sub-genre with a shifter. The writing was solid and was quite enjoyable. I was really getting into this story and loved the premise of it. Then towards the end, it just kind of fell apart for me. There came some stuff that was even more unbelievable than a guy who can turn into a dragon. It seemed beyond my realm of understanding that the main female is going to let her show more partner call her a "traitorous bitch" and two pages later, she is over it. Then, how could he not see the shiny, glimmering hairpin in her hair when he has been looking at her through the whole scene. Not to mention, it was hard for me to get past the fact that in two years of them knowing each other, he never realized she was his mate. Um ok. I'm not buying it. He would have had some inkling. Not to mention, I don't see how he resisting the mate pull for two years. The story until the ending was enjoyable, but it lost me at the end. show less

Sara Kenyon, Pack Guardian and Lily's best friend, has a secret. She's in love with Lily's brother, Rafe. Rafe Bardou, Pack Guardian and next in line to be the Alpha, wants Sara and has for over a year. He's waited patiently for her but he's done waiting and ready to claim his mate. The wolf in him will only allow her so much before he moves on. Rafe has a new assignment fro his Alpha and that is to start a new pack up north near Canada. Rafe is ready but he doesn't want to leave without his mate. Can he convince her this time that she is his mate and that she is strong enough to be an Alpha's mate?
I really loved this book. I can't wait to read the next book in this series. I highly recommend this boo to others. show less

I love my Dragon shifters, and Kai is no exception. We meet Gabi, who is an underwater researcher for the University. She and her team have made the biggest find ever. Now, what is she going to do with that knowledge? I could not stop turning pages on this book, and I will definitely be on the lookout for the next one.
