Really, You’ve Done Enough is less a grown child's appreciative, “Thank you, Mom and Dad, for all your help,” and more a, “Stop it already, you’ve screwed me up enough!” Its observations about adult family dynamics, first post-graduation jobs, leisure time, and dating/marriage are often funny and spot-on. Though the subtitle (A Parents’ Guide to Stop Parenting Their Adult Child who Still Needs Their Money but Not Their Advice) suggests that over-accommodating parents are the show more intended reader, it’s really the twentysomethings who will chuckle more at this wandering, author-centric exploration of contemporary young-adulthood. show less
