What's there not to love about this book? I loved every single thing. It was such a joy to read from start to finish.
Dan and Ash were just perfect together. They really knew how to get each other going. Dan doesn't care what the world or anyone else thinks and wants Ash. Yet Ash is more cautious and has a life plan that she believes will get her what she wants. Yet is can't stop Dan and his over-the-top ways and love always surprises as when we least expect. Yet it is never easy for the show more mismatched couple.
Dan is just too good. I loved him to bits. Some of the things he says are just way out there and he is not shy to say what is on his mind. I swear I had people looking at me strangely when I started laughing out loud while reading High Strung.
Ash is also a strong female. I like that it book girlfriends. It's nice to see for a change. They stand up for what they want and not just become a 'doormat' for the guy.
The story line and plot flow very smoothly and before I knew it the story was over. Will be checking back for the next one in the series. show less

I received a copy of this book from the publisher in exchange for an unbiased review.
I honestly wasn't sure if I'd read one of T. Gebhart's books when I signed up to review this book, but I knew there were a couple of them on my TBR pile. I'm truly happy that I went with my gut and took a chance. This story was delightful and fun, and a gorgeous cover to boot.
Our heroine, Eve, is outspoken and sometimes a little scatterbrained, but also confident in many ways. Having been shaken up by some show more stumbling blocks, she gets help from an unexpected ally - and finds an artist that she hopes will help her find her muse. I really dug how much of a contradiction her character is - it made for a completely 3-D personality that jumped off the page.
The man who's tasked with getting her back on track is Josh, the co-owner of a successful tattoo parlor. He's big, inked, charismatic, and to Eve - completely mesmerizing. She can't help but stare at him, his work, his art, his movement, everything.
They both know it's not a good idea to jump each other even though there's a huge attraction between them, but how long is that gonna last when Eve and Josh work together in tight quarters? Will Josh be her muse? Will Eve get her mojo back? Will they make beautiful watercolors together?
Here's the good news: you can find out by picking up this book and reading it for yourself. I give it 4 to 4.5 stars. show less

I think you guys know that I happen to have a girl crush on Tina, I mean her books are awesome and hilarious. I always come away with a smile after I read one her books. So piece together a fun rom-com with hot firefighters, yes you get it awesome sauce. This is the third book in the series and you really have to read the first two to get an understanding of the dynamic and who is who, and really how can you not start from the beginning with one of Tina's book, you would be only cheating show more yourself, so dont do it, start from the beginning, and your welcome. Jared has a hot one night with Presley but he doesn't want his friend to find out that he crossed that line, the line that you dont touch your best friends sister, but rules are mean to be broken and these two do it wonderfully. I love catching up with the other characters in this series and can't wait for the next one. Enjoy!
