This is such a nice story to show kids how pointless it is to look for happiness in things or the constant drive for 'more' and 'better'. I only wish it was a little longer and clearer in the resolution at the end.
This collection of stories are really quick reads and tell a sweet story. The one I liked most from this story was one where the mouse was too busy typing to go fishing with moose. He kept throwing apples out the window as he worked. Moose brought him fish to eat and left it by the door, in the meantime he picked up all the apples the mouse had been throwing out the window, when mouse went to get the food by the door he saw the old apples and though Moose was playing a trick on him. It all show more got figured out and Moose realized Mouse was busy typing a poem about how great of a friend Moose was. show less
Fun rhyming story which reminds one of Dr. Seuss. I laughed out loud.
This book was about a bear that started out to be very stubborn at the beginning of the story. saying multiple animals are behind him and he continues to say, "I DON'T CARE". Their is a moose, goose, pig, wolf, and a mouse. But he gets scared at the teeny little mouse at the end of the book and all the animals that were following him started to laugh at him.
