Creative Haven Victorian Houses Architecture Coloring Book (Creative Haven Coloring Books) by A.G. Smith
Finished........gorgeous! Probably my favorite coloring book so far. For fun I went online to Google Images to see photos of the named houses in the book. Only one of my colored houses was even close to the real color scheme. I had hours of fun with this.
This is a book that is meant to be cut-up and assembled into a village consisting of two houses, one school, one church, one general store, and one fire house. It would make a nice addition to the classroom during a unit on "our town" or something similar.
Seven authentic Mexican folk masks, each based on an authentic historic example, richly diverse in their origins and significance. Among them are two sinister devil masks, a skull mask, a spectacular bat mask, and a tiger mask. Easy-to-follow instructions and diagrams show how to cut, fold, and glue together.
Carefully researched picture survey includes 45 accurate representations of a gypsy camp of horse-drawn caravans, Bedouin tent, Nebraska sod house, pioneer log cabin, Swiss chalet, an Irish thatched farmhouse, Inuit igloo, cliff houses of Mesa Verde, and other traditional forms of housing. An informative caption accompanies each detailed illustration
