-- Tom Murphy's ASPEN INCIDENT is a sophisticated whodunit. After an up & coming state senator is shot to death on a chair lift the man who sat beside him is the target of murder. That man is Joe Bird, owner of Joe's Place. Readers learn Joe & senator's wife grew up in same small Kansas town. This skier appreciated Murphy's descriptions of snow & slope conditions. That Joe has a beautiful girlfriend & drives a Porsche highlight pleasure of fiction. Novels with cold & snowy settings satisfy show more this Vermonter who loves winter. -- show less
