I cannot believe the series is over. Two years and a lot of books later we get the story of the youngest Bennett, Summer. I am not going to say a word about her character. We already know and love her. If you have no idea who she is, I would recommend to pick the first book in the series and slow become an adoptive Bennett like the rest of us. I am not sad that the series has ended. I am pretty sure I have read somewhere that we will get a Bennett spin-off, so I will get my fix there. All show more the siblings have their happily ever after secured and they are blissfully in love, so I am happy.

Summer and Alexander have a great story. It felt like it was a proper ending to the series. We got to see the other Bennetts without feeling like crucial moments were stolen from our couple. They took things slow and they fell for each other as much as I fell for this book. To be honest, I feel like something was missing. Like a very extended epilogue where we see all the siblings with their significant others sometime in the future, but I can almost let that go. Alex from the very first page was down to earth, not because he had hit rock bottom but because he was just a good person. He had great chemistry with Summer and their relationship worked perfectly. I didn't even doubt him in the end. I knew he wouldn't ruin the book. Summer was very understanding of all the things she had to do to handle Alex's fame. She is a great person. I wouldn't have minded if the book was longer.

Do I have to say that I recommend the book? I recommend the whole series! If this is your first book with the Bennetts you can read it without a problem since each book in the series can be read as stand alone.

I can't believe that book 3 in The Connor Family series is already out! Three books in a year has been a lovely treat to us as readers and I am happy to say that the writing quality hasn't dropped! I devoured the book and I was very happy and satisfied with the ending result. There was some conflict between Paige and Will that wasn't to my liking, but overall Meant for you was another great addition to the series and on the author's works. We even got a crossover with some of the Bennett's show more and that made the book even better. I was very happy to catch up with a few familiar characters and I loved the part where the men join forces in order to help Will with a certain situation he was in.

Paige and Will had an easy relationship. She might have been reluctant to begin something with a man whose life was in danger due to his work, but the author decided not to drag it, which was all I could ask. These two had a meant to be vibe from the moment they met and I didn't want to wait too long. The pace was good and well balanced. We got that instant connection, but they took some time before they decided to sleep together, say I love you and even date. It wasn't rushed in other words. The appearances of other beloved characters didn't take the spotlight away from them but rather enchanted it.

The book can be read as stand-alone, so you basically have no reason to not read the book. Whether or not you are familiar with the author doesn't matter. You should pick this book up and get to know Will and Paige.

In the eighth installment of the captivating series by Layla Hagen, we delve into the enchanting world of Reese Maxwell and Dominic Waldorf. Although it may seem daunting to jump into a series at this point, fear not, as Cherish Me Forever stands on its own, providing a delightful reading experience for both newcomers and devoted fans.

Reese Maxwell, a strong and resilient hotel executive, holds her large family close to her heart. When a haunting past resurfaces, her loved ones rally around show more her, offering unwavering support. Surprisingly, among those who stand by her side is a stranger she met at a charity event. Dominic Waldorf, owner of Waldorf Fashion, willingly steps up, volunteering to be her supportive and understanding boyfriend, shielding her from the unwelcome advances of her ex and his new wife. It is an act of kindness that truly captures Reese's heart and sparks an unexpected journey.

Dominic is well-known in Chicago's society and has grown tired of the public spotlight following his tumultuous divorce. However, a chance encounter with Reese ignites a powerful attraction, making him question his single status and his aversion to public displays of affection. Their connection is undeniable, from their initial grumpy meet-cute to Dominic's endearing integration into Reese's large and loving family. With a past filled with heartbreak, they both hesitate to embrace their growing feelings, but as their love blossoms, their passion ignites, leaving readers electrified by their undeniable chemistry.

The authenticity of their relationship is beautifully displayed as we witness the gradual transformation of a seemingly reserved man into a compassionate partner who deeply listens to Reese, something she had yearned for in her previous relationship. Reese, a loving and giving soul, courageously asserts herself, standing up to her ex and his manipulative actions. Her unwavering loyalty to her family and friends is heartwarming, and the playful yet protective nature of her cousins adds a delightful touch to the story.

Supporting characters, including the endearing Gran with her sage advice and Dominic's father, who begins to embrace life anew through Reese's influence, contribute to the overall charm of the narrative. While Reese's ex, Malcolm, and his wife, Francesca, receive their comeuppance, readers may crave more insight into Dominic's ex, Kelly, whose presence is introduced but not fully explored.

In the end, Reese and Dominic's love story is one of patience, persistence, and a willingness to put family first. They prove that sometimes, the best things in life are worth waiting for. And that when you find someone who makes you smile, you hold on to them for dear life.

Thank you to Ms. Hagen for giving me the opportunity to read this book with no expectation of a positive review.

Do you honestly expect me to write a bad review for this book? Or maybe not say that I enjoyed the book? I am starting to think that I will never give a bad rating or review to this author. Graham could have been jaded or bitter about love and marriage and ruin the story, but instead, he kept supporting his friends with their marriage preparations and helped them with the budget. He was a great friend and I loved his relationship with Amber and her man. Of course, he got the biggest reward show more in the end, which is Lori. Lori is a single mom who plans weddings and loves her job. She is also sensible and a good mom. She and Graham took things slowly and I liked how they gradually became a family. It was fun to watch Graham give Lori's son everything he wanted since he couldn't resist his charm. What I really liked about this kid is that he actually acts like one. He is not mature and he tricked Graham into buying him more toys which is something I would expect from a kid. For once, a kid acted like a kid in a novel. He, Graham and Lori were a loving family and I can't wait to see more of them in Will's book. Will admitted that he is not against the idea of love and relationships so, I want to see how his story will go.

Do I even have to say that I recommend the book? You already knew it.
