I'm not sure why I'm hanging on to this dust collector. I have yet to plow through this brick of a book and discover le mot juste. Instead I always end up with words which are either inappropriate or insipid. I suppose it serves me right. I think I borrowed this from some former employer and forgot to return it. Bad book karma, perhaps?

The spine of this old paperback testifies to how often I used it in college, so it's sentimental for me. Roget was and perhaps still is nearly synonymous with thesaurus, though it seems these references have gone the way of the dinosaur-us.

I like this thesaurus because, as I get older, I find I keep using (and hearing) the same adjectives. If I hear the word "amazing" one more time.....!!?#O(#*
This is a stupendous thesaurus.

I find the format of this thesaurus cumbersome and much prefer Roget's College Thesaurus in Dictionary form. What was the publisher thinking?
