Bought this book at a garage sale for fifty-cents 20 years ago when I was in the US Navy and it has proven to be a great reference book for teaching celestial navigation to the Egyptian Navy when I worked on the US AID project here (I retired and still live here in Egypt). This book, and the Annapolis Book of Seamanship are two of the best books to have in one's library when it comes to learning marine navigation. Anyone can do GPS, but it takes a REAL sailer to navigate show more properly.
