Ashamed to admit it, but Vicente Aleixandre doesn't really do anything for me personally. Objectively, he is the master of the surrealist image, and rivals Lorca in terms of the depths of his poetic explorations. Aleixandre's work, though, (for me), isn't as fun to explore, adhering as he does almost exclusively to the surrealist creed.

Still, this one might deserve a re-read, as I read it when I was studying for my QEs and was pretty jaded by that point.
