Art and the Future: A History/Prophecy of the Collaboration Between Science, Technology and Art by Douglas Davis
By now, I'm thoroughly sick of the emphasis on technology. For me, I think it's time we pd more attn to telepathy & less attn to computers. &, yet, I'm not telepathic & I'm writing this on a computer & you're reading it on one (probably). SO, oh well.. In other words, this is a great bk despite it all. & the idea of an Artists Strike (later revivified by the neoists) is mentioned. As is Lo-Fi. So it's not like the whole thing's about selling you an iPod. P.S. I added the bk cover image b/c show more the bk listed here is close enuf to the edition I have but the actual edition listed may've had a different cover. show less
Valuable guidebook that I'll keep handy in all my creative projects and career moves. However it is very dryly written.
Human capital--Israel, Israel--Economic conditions, Israel--Economic policy, Israel--Foreign economic relations.
