Hazel Perper

I was given this book as a humous tease because I always laughed as the humourous drawings of Arthur in the margins of Mad Magazine in the late 50's and early 60's. Arthur was an ANEMIC avacado plant with a devious sense of humor. I ended up growing a replica of Arthur - tall and spindly as opposed to the bushy plant that the book teaches you to grow. I enjoyed the whole process so much, that I never got rid of the book.
