It is not a book to teach you how to applique baltimore album style. This is written by one of the experts in the history of this style of needlework.
This book is a pattern companion to volume I I of the author's Baltimore Beauties and Beyond, Studies in Classic Album Quilt Applique . The format is a workbook, with a series of lessons intended to be completed in order. Patterns are provided for 33 quilt blocks or individual elements (flowers, baskets, etc.) that can be used in Baltimore Album style quilt blocks.
