Elizabeth P. Fleming (1888–1985)

I believe this is based on the true story of a missionary family to Japan at the dawn of the 20th century. The story focuses on two brothers and their father, and was just a delightful read). Suitable for ages approximately 12 and under. Sweet depictions of family life, respectful depiction of Japanese life and culture of the time, and of interest to both boys and girls.
