I bought this as it was heavily reduced in a supermarket and having read it, perhaps now I understand why. This book didn't grab me at all. I think it is aimed more at the novice cook and as such, I found I knew all the little hints and tips already. The recipes were fairly ordinary. There is a wide mix of recipes using pork, chicken, beef, salmon, vegetables and fruit. Ideal for a student in their first year away from home perhaps. but think I am not the book's target market.
Unusual cookbook. Mixture of author's travels and cooking/recipes each with his trademark spice twist. See Bowker library description associated with this book (i.e. on this site) for a better idea.
