A preposterously christianized Mad Max knock-off. Denzel Washington brings a lot of gravitas to the role, and Gary Oldman does the hammy villain excellently well. All this is undercut by the plot and the stylish and impractical garb of the Solara character. This movie is actually first cousin to "I am Legend", which had a quite good first 1/2 hour, in which it was revealed that Will Smith can act, followed by another hour of complete CGI filled dumbness.
A man carries a bible through a post-apocalyptic desert.
It's like watching one of those video game cut scenes, where no matter how many buttons you mash they just won't let you skip it and play the fucking game already.

Post apocalyptic film with Denzel Washington, Mila Kunis, and Gary Oldman. Great cast, interesting plot, great soundtrack.
