This very small pamphlet is a compact study guide on the Seven Sacraments by the Catholic Truth Society. The "Roman Cathechism" defines a Sacrament as "Something on which the senses can fasten, and which by God's appointment has the power both to symbolize and to produce Holiness and Righteousness." This well written guide can be used as a compact course or a refresher guide.

It starts off with an introduction to the sacraments and their meaning. They are comprised of an outward sign, were show more instituted by Christ, and give grace. There is also a concise and short explanation of each of the seven sacaraments in accordance to the Council of Trent. The seven sacraments consist of Baptisn, Confirmation, Penance, Holy Eucharist, Extreme Unction, Holy Orders and Matrimony. show less
