Heavyweight dub bout, April 21, 2001

A nice little package, all in all...When Scientist runs into the Roots Radics on Maxfield Avenue, you know there's going to be trouble. It takes a while for things to really kick off...the first part of the program is characterised by some solid, though not particularly challenging dub excursions. It's the final five "bonus" cuts that really ignite; Scientist neatly sidesteps Tubby's long dub shadow and turns in a series of dubs that are all his own. So, at the end of the day, a worthwhile investment. Thanks to those folks down in St.Louis at Sound System for bringing this one to the light of day... show less
