Cavalcade of the North : an entertaining collection of distinguished writing by Canadian authors by George Edmondson Nelson
An interesting collection of two novels, plus short stories and essays from Canadians, the surprise best was "The School on the Little Water Hen" by Gabrielle Roy. The surprise worst was "Vignettes of French Canada" by Thomas B. Costain that showed none of Costain's usual fluidity.
