Reviews
A novel novel, with a surprise narrator (I was not expecting that revelation). Part Fight Club, part Dexter, parts American Psycho. Orderly chapters converging . . . some very good lines here and there . . . phrases one hears . . . eg in re the onset of winter: "Each year brings the eternal novelty of a dismal climate and its attendant misereis: melancholy, wet socks and foul moods." I particulary liked 'attendant miseries' but would ad icy roads and challanged drivers . . . -- Started this show more week so that quote hit home. Sex, gratification, not fight club violent, but questions consumption market society . . show less
Nothing but Penthouse Letters masquerading as post modernist and anti-nihilistic philosophy.
