Remy writes a survival journal, hoping to help others, especially Micah, survive. Beginning with the first wave, the Covid-19 pandemic, his notes continue with the second wave, the Scum, the third wave, Spontaneous Combustion, and the fourth wave, Accelerated degenerating cancer.
Remy and Micah lost their dad in the fourth wave; Remy struggles to get Micah to a safe place his dad told him about. Along the way, he’s hidden the truth about Micah in the name of safety.
Will they show more reach safety? Can they survive in this new world?

This Young Adult dystopian tale, with its undercurrent of desperation, takes the all-too-recent pandemic and puts an imaginative spin on it, sending the survivors into an apocalyptic world. It’s personal, intimate, grim, and frightening. Writing the story as a journal and, following that, tips for survival in this apocalyptic world, gives the reader a unique perspective on the telling of the tale, but many will wish there was more about Remy and Micah . . . so many questions are left unanswered. show less

This book tells of construction, seafaring, mining, and air vehicles. I enjoyed learning about them and seeing their sizes as they are drawn to scale. I liked how each machine is shown in a work setting. Your children will love it.
Book telling about the animals that live in the sea and ocean. I was impressed with how nice this is. I learned things I did not know. Each animal is shown and some facts are given about it. I liked how the animals are drawn to scale. It is hard to be able to picture it but when I saw the differences in sizes I was in awe on some of them. Worth it!
