I was surprised how much I loved this book. It was a great adventure, plus, there were all these fabulous quiet times when it was just the boy and his horse, learning to co-exist. Just enthralling.
I really enjoyed this one, a realistic and informative read about a boy in a tribe who works to fit in and learn to be a horseman. More at http://equus-blog.com/spirit-horse/
This book is good. Why, is because Running Crane is called Siksika or by his regular name most of all all the kids make fun of him which i think is mean and i a result of bullying. Weasel Rider the show off is just trying to tell him what to do but i think that one day Running Crane might get back at him he might not it all depends if they make another book. RUnning Crane is trying to leran how to ride a horse but it seems that he just can't get it right, he tries and tries but can't do it show more so Weasel Rider says he'll never be able to ride with wolf and his hunting squad. Running Crane takes no thought of what he says he keeps ont trying. That tells me that don't take anybodys opinion about oh you'll never do it you just believe that you will and shall do it or make it. show less
