Addison Little’s best friend Lily has won a trip to Safari Island, a place of fun, sun and shifters. They plan to have a girls’ vacation to end all vacations and when they meet up with some hunky guys they hope some sweaty fun is to be had.

This is a bare bones tale, but for all the brevity it’s not too bad. Plus, there are shifters on Safari Island I’ve never read about, such as the drool-worthy Chet who is a rhino shifter. He can be ridden in show more more ways than one. Hubba hubba. Anyway, the characters and world could definitely use more development, but the romance is decently hot and the characters likeable. I would also recommend another round of editing as there were some minor issues. Addison gets her HEA, but Lily will have to wait for book 2 which I’ve added to the TBR. show less

I love anthologies because there are so many new authors that you can discovered all at once. This anthology had one of my favorite authors Charlene Hartnady which was the main reason I chose to read it. But there are also many entertaining short stories by some very good authors. I enjoyed most of the novellas with an exception of a few which were just too raunchy for my taste but most of them have interesting characters and story lines. Of all the shorts, for me the most enjoyable reads show more were:

One of my favorites is KISS OF A DRAGON by Alisa Woods. It is the first book in a nine book series. Lucian, Dragon Prince to the House of Smoke must take a human mate to produce an heir and continue a treaty with the Fae. He enlists the help of Arabella Sharp, to help find him a mate, but the only person that interest him is Arabella. This contemporary PNR takes place in Seattle. KISS OF A DRAGON is creative and exhilarating. I love that the dragons protect the unknowing humans. I also, love the explanation about how they stay hidden. The story was full of action and conspiracy. The House of Smoke has some attention-grabbing adversaries.

Most of these authors were new to me. I will definitely read more books by these authors. Each story was uniquely different and adventurous. This is a fabulous anthology to quench your dragon shifter craving.

I liked all but the last two - the second to last had spanking and pain which was not noted in the description, and the last one while a nice story had too much sadness in the story itself and the premise. Not enough sexual tension and consummation, just tension and sadness.

Overall a good collection.
