Fun Christmas story where Destiny has to locate Santa. Of course, he looks nothing like the jolly old rotund man. He's a virile well-built man who all the women want. Destiny finds him in Florida and she is not a happy camper when he does not believe that someone wants to stop Christmas from coming. When his cousin Krampus stills his Christmas magic, he begins to believe her. Will they be able to get Santa's Christmas magic back or is Christmas gone for good?
I laughed throughout this story. show more Destiny is snarky. Santos (Santa) has all kinds of euphemisms to give her and doesn't lose his cheer. When they finally do return to the North Pole that is when Santos believes her and he has to undo the damage that has been done. Destiny also learns that she does not dislike him as much as she thought and she learns her importance to Santa and Christmas. So much fun! show less

What a beautiful story of second-chances. Maria has spent her life doing what everyone else wanted her to do. After getting a divorce from her husband, she gets a taste of what makes her happy. Oz is a rocker friend of her sister and her fiancée. These two have some serious sparks. Can they overcome baggage and issues to make it work? Watching them work through and grow as a couple is delightful and to watch the two bands grow is fun. This was my first taste of this series and I’m hooked. show more I fell in love with the characters. Best part was seeing Maria get the courage and strength to stand up for herself and what was right for her. I love romances with strong female protagonist. Great story and a quick read. Kennedy is a divorced woman looking for a ONS. Jack is an FBI agent and a player. ONS is his middle name. They meet at the wedding of his partner to her cousin and they decide to hook up. They don't see each other for awhile, but accidentally bump into each other when he's working an undercover gig as a male stripper. They decide to hook up again. And again. And again. And pretty soon, they're in a normal kind of relationship without realizing it. And without realizing that they've fallen show more for each other. But his job puts them both in danger, making them realize that things aren't as casual as they thought they wanted.
The book was okay. The plot was interesting but the characters and the writing were kind of off, so I didn't really love this one. There was a definite lack of communication between these two and that kind of annoyed me after a point. But overall, not too bad of a story. show less

Of Love and Darkness (Twisted Fate, #1)
by Tami Lund
I really enjoyed this book. It is not your typical shifter story. I got so wrapped up in the story that I just could not put it down.
So much action, adventure, humor and romance too.
Gavin and Sydney had a chemistry between them that was very strong. Both strong beings.
I saw Gavin as a very obnoxious jerk. Couldn't understand why Sydney saw in him for awhile, then slowly you could see what she saw.
This was a very good read and I am looking show more forward to more.
