I enjoyed learning about Estee Ackerman and her brilliant ping-pong skills. I especially liked learning what type of person she is, and how she places family and faith at the top of her important list. Excellent read with just right text and perfect illustrations.
In the fourth Kayla and Kugel book, Kayla helps her family build and decorate their sukkah in the backyard. As her puppy playfully interferes, Kayla energetically helps with the holiday preparations while explaining to her pup how and why they build and decorate this temporary house in their backyard as part of the holiday in simple, direct language that young children will find easy to grasp.
. Kayla prepares for the Jewish New Year by picking apples, buying honey and round challah bread at the market, and listening to Daddy practice blowing the shofar while her mischievous dog Kugel gets into a bit of trouble. Its all okay when they learn that Rosh Hashanah is a time to promise to do better.
. In this enchanting story, Zaydee tell his grandson a fun and zany version of the traditional Passover story in which matzah pizza actually came to
