Ada Bell

A contemporary and supernatural cozy mystery that's fun and endearing. This is the first book in the series and the author included some eclectic characters and delivered the story well. Not as dark or sad as some cozies, which is refreshing if you need something a little more light-hearted in between your other novels. I will definitely be looking for more books in this series.

Aly discovers, at a job interview, that she has psychic powers. Soon after, her boss is arrested for murder. She decides to try to use her powers, which she can't handle very well, to try and find out the real culprit.

A light, fun read. It was a tad annoying the way she seemed to swoon over every guy she met.

I am curious though to find out what happened to her brother's wife. That is left unsolved at the end of the book.
