A classic. That I didn’t know much about. It is set partly in Sweden, partly in the USA. The description of Sweden, its country mentality early 1900eds is very vivid. But for me – later in the story – the clown (Jac) isn’t particularly interesting. A bit obvious and predictable. Perhaps have I missed something?

En klassiker. Som jag inte visste mycket om. Den utspelsr sig dels i Sverige, dels i USA. Beskrivningen av Sverige, dess landsbygdsmentalitet tidigt 1900.tal tycker jag är väldigt levande. Men för mig - senare i historien - är inte clownen (Jac) särskilt intressant. Lite övertydlig och förutsägbar. Kanske jag missat nåt?… (more)
