I plan to continue this series, the plot is an interesting idea, I liked the main characters, but some of the dialogue in this first volume was a little spotty at times.
I've done a fair bit of making fun of Japaneses comics by white people on LibraryThing, but this lady knows her shoujo manga. This is like a genre exercise with heart.

In this volume, we're starting to see some characters really come into their own as they grow and change. The beautiful artwork combined with the well fleshed-out characters makes this feel much richer than many other love story comics.… (more)
