These are fun books, but haven't really stood the test of time. I remember loving them when I first read them (in the 90's, I think) but when I re-read them a decade or so later they have certainly aged quite a bit. Still, they are enjoyable and fast reads.

Dexter Sinister runs a very modest talent agency booking various odd acts, when he is asked to locate and gather the Tzadikim Nistarim; the 36 righteous men and women whose unceasing selfless efforts keep the world from destruction. What follows is a madcap adventure across the planet, culminating in a trial to determine the fate of all mankind. Highly recommended.
