Cute pictures of baby animals and their parents, short text.
This is a book about ABC's using zoo animals. It's an interesting because it uses actual pictures of zoo animals. This adds a different element to the book because seeing real animals rather than illustrations it makes the animals more real to children.
Absolutely adorable! The animals are so cute and I liked how they used some species that aren't typically the first name that comes to mind when thinking of an animal that starts with that letter so it also introduces children to new animal species! Plus each comes with a couple cute sentences.
A cute ABC book with many interesting animals that I had never heard of before, or never seen a picture of. There is a note at the beginning that zoo-born animals help scientists study them and better help animals in the wild. Truthfully, it's not my favorite ABC book. Some pages have interesting facts about the animals but several are general, bland comments about what the animal is doing in the picture. I would prefer that every page have an interesting fact related to the animal, since that's what the book claims that zoo-borns do - help scientists study them and gain more information about them.… (more)
