MCs were a good match in their obsession with each other. The secondary drama didn’t flow as well.

Low 3 for a somewhat poorly stitched together story. Enjoyed Jane and her growing boldness but Harrison’s obsession (and his strange decisions in dealing with it) - oddly acted out. Is he on the spectrum? That possibility, in my mind, would make his behaviour a bit more understandable.

Oh, and the “hands” thing is delightful.

Could have been a 4 but the romantic conflict continued much too long. Also, the real facts of the conflict were glossed over too easily without sufficient consequence.

Enjoyable MCs, a little out of the ordinary Regency mold but not so much so as to be unbelievable. Humorous moments. Pleasant development of the romance, good character growth (MMC) and interesting secondary characters (though the “villains” certainly didn’t get punished enough).
