The main reason I gave three stars is because this novel would greatly benefit from more editing/proofreading. However, I believe it has a lot of potential. There were many intriguing things that kept me reading, as well as the interactions between the various characters. In addition, although I was not really a fan of the main plot twist, it did take me by surprise, which is rather rare, and may appeal to other readers. Struck by lightning. Lynsey awakes in a strange new planet. Guided by a disembodied voice in her mind, she navigates a perilous pyramid, crosses paths with a cunning assassin and befriends a tribe of nomads hoping to free an ancient enchained dragon.
I absolutely loved this book! So much so I ordered a physical copy! It’s action packed and page turning amazing m. I loved how the story made more sense as you progressed and how the characters developed. Definitely enjoyed this book!

Interesting plot line.
At the start I was a little confused, but as the chapter progressed it made more sense.
It gave a rather different take on various Egyptian ideas and put in a totally new world.
Very action packed at times, with good character bonding and the pacing was good.
I liked how none of the characters were really stuck in any real gender roles, everyone seemed just as capable as the other.
There are a few spelling errors in their that had me pulled out of the story, as it was the same sounding word but meant something totally different. (using Taught instead of taut).
Overall I really enjoyed the book, the assassin character was great and the AI was rather cleverly done to enhance the MC.

I got a pdf and only got a glace at it. I accidentally deleted this after glaceing at it and was going to look at it more to review it and i deleted not only the email but the pdf attachment. Since this happened I now learned to keep the emails and delete after knowing i wrote a review of the book and downloaded back up copy and saved it in cloud to retrieve it again.

On the other hand, from what I seen of it and slim look at it. It seem like it would a really good kids book. In may have puzzles in it but I did not get a chance to really look at it completely and it been a while since I received this book. I hope to find it somewhere to buy it and check it out again. It looks like it would keep little ones busy for some time.… (more)
