OH man! I would love a micro mini house! Even just a cabin in the woods! A lady cave in the back yard! Loved this and was inspired (haha) to dream. There is a house in here built by a what, 15-year old young lady. Complete with plans! Just need a plot o'land!

Encouraged by our downsizing project, I picked this up at the library. While we're not going down to 400 sq ft, there were many innovative ideas here that were worthwhile looking at.

I made a lot of notes about the clever things people have done to cabins, airstreams, and shipping containers. When I find them, they'll make a great review!

Note: I think the "full-time" living is stretching for some (as in outdoor toilets) but others are actually being used for that purpose.

Micro Living by Derek Diedricksen showcases 40 tiny houses, giving profiles and floorplans. Each entry has a plethora of gorgeous pictures bringing the home to vibrant life. The tiny houses are divided according to square footage size, ranging from large tinies to truly wee little homes. Deek encourages people interested in micro living to make use of the plans and profiles inside to inspire ideas for their own home. I love tiny houses! If I could afford it, I would have a wee little house. I love feeling snug and safe, and I love being up high, so a loft bed is a plus! While not containing a loft, I also really liked the refurbished airstream home.
