If you became interested in the Total Consecration to Jesus Through Mary by way of something you read on the internet, know that this book has a more detailed version of the Total Consecration. Using this book for your Total show more Consecration is going to take longer than the 31 days websites dictate the Consecration takes. I learned this "the hard way". I had intended my Consecration to end on the Marian Feast Day, the Assumption of Mary. I became *very* confused (and subsequently stopped) when it appeared I was a week behind schedule. As well, the Readings do not line up with the Readings you'll find online for the Consecration -- the Readings in the book are much longer.

I want to be the kind of Catholic that prays the rosary every day like my great aunt did. I just not that devout yet.

But I do know the rosary helps calm and focus me when I'm at my weakest. This book centred the benefits of this powerful prayer and is alway kept in a place of reference, when I need inspiration.

The book was inspiring but monotonousness at times. It does express the perfect way to be devoted to our Blessed Mother.
