This book was my favorite thing to read as well as quite possibly every little girls favorite book when I was younger. growing up, as a little girl, I loved anything Disney princess. We all know the story of Cinderella and her wicked step mother and how she was forbidden to go to the ball. The theme of this story is that, you can't let someone stand in the way of following your dreams and living life. Another theme could be positivity. Through all her trials, Cinderella remained positive through it all. Cinderella wasn't able to maintain positivity all by herself, though, she had the help of all the creatures in her house. No matter how small or tiny, they were able to help Cinderella build up the strength and courage to stand up to her step mother and escape her wicked ways and neglect. Although many movies have been made based off of this story, they will never compare to the original version I read as a child.… (more)

My granddaughter said "Wow, this is a REALLY condensed version of the story!"-- I guess it is ok for a child just beginning to read.

Cinderella is sad that she cannot go to the ball but her fairy godmother appears and gets everything ready for her to go. This is a cute story because it is the countdown to the ball. For example, it shows you one magic coach, two coachmen, etc. until it gets to the clock striking twelve. This story is for children who are learning to count with this book it would be an easier process for them. It also tells them the Cinderella story in a short way so they can understand it and read it.

This clever story is about a boy who needs help tying his shoe because he forgot. His little brother helps him tie, going into full detail while the pictures illustrate how to do it. I would share this book with children who are trying to learn how to tie their shoes.
