This book is an addition to the long tradition of sibling adventure stories. It plays upon the recent trend of celebrating all things 80s. It is obvious that the author has plans for the characters and this universe as it feels somewhat unfinished. Those who are children of the 80s will most likely be able to see elements of their childhood within this text, even though it is a fantastical version of the 80s.
